Sep. 7th, 2014 06:28 pmI had a dream last night that I had an essay due for Uni the day before and had not only not remembered the deadline I hadn't written a word! Cue frantic typing and sobbing in terror (I DO NOT MISS DEADLINES. I DO NOT EVER MISS DEADLINES.)
What the hell? I know some people will find that quite a common anxiety type dream but it was a first for me. Usually my recurring dreams involve teeth falling out, altar serving, and my hair suddenly being long.
It was a first. Hopefully it will be a last as it was not pleasant although I have to say my in-dream reaction was not as panicked and distressed as my real-life reaction would be to that kind of thing.
Today, was Chloe's last Mass before she heads off to University. It felt incredibly significant although, as I kept reminding the girls, it isn't the end - if they shut us down my mother has already said she will drive to Uni and collect her herself so she can come to the last Mass of St Raphaels, but it is true that, if they ever deign to make the announcement confirming their original proposals, it could be her last-bar-one time serving at St Raphael's with us all. We may not be there by Christmas.
Of course, they have said all this before. So again, we will just have to see.
