It's been my first couple of weeks in my new job, which I think is going well although the expectations feel incredibly high. I will definitely be earning the payrise! In addition to that though I'm feeling a bit overwhelmingly busy because of the show, which is in less than two weeks now and there are still a lot of worries about the dance numbers, the general direction and the stage stup. I'm exhausted even thinking about it and, considering my minor role, have a ridiculous amount of costume changes in the first half all of which I need to organise, label and prepare.

It's Nanny's birthday on Monday. I have bought her a bag with a cicero quote on it and a huge heavy amount of handmade fudge. Hopefully, that will meet with approval.

The General Election has been a terrible, terrible thing of which I will not speak, except to say: I am Sorry, Rest of the World. It appears that the people have spoken and the people are fucking wankers.
