Well today was just pants. I had this meeting at work and...well I try not to babble about work on here but suffice to say it didn't go as planned and now I'm left feeling a bit poo and also a little lost because Difficult Decisions need to be made, and neither solution is really a great one.

So let's just move on.

Choice for films this weekend so far seems to be The Dictator. Mind you I'm supposed to be going to the races/a colleague's housewarming on Saturday so maybe I won't go the pictures at all. It's not like I'm particularly enthused to see The Dictator. Men in Black 3 looks marginally diverting but so far it is only been advertised in 3D and there's no point to that at all (I haven't seen Men in Black 2, actually, but am not particularly bothered. 3 looks interesting because it appears to involve time travel). Other than that there's not a lot popping up on the list looking interesting.

I have also been thinking of getting a new phone- on a contract. I've never had one on contract before so it'd be a big change but I've seen a deal that looks to be very good value for money so I'm...considering. Including insurance it is only £16 a month, which is pretty good. I mean it is more than I'm putting on my phone at the moment but compared to other prices I've seen that's pretty damn awesome. But with all the difficult decisions of which I cannot speak going on with work at the moment I'm putting off making a decision on EVERYTHING and that includes phones. Most definitely.

The nights are getting lighter now so soon I shall take up yomping again I think. It would do me good to be able to march off some of my troubles.

heh, as you know, I decided against the phone...and now mine has developed a really annoying error where it thinks I have one unread message all the time, WHEN I DON'T. I have tried removing both battery and Sim card, no joy. Going to have to delete my entire inbox, oh woe. I was very amused that it did this a week after I decided against that offer. If it had done it the week before, it might have been a different story!

Dear me! It was like your old phone was just clinging on until your urge to replace went away!

I'm very keen on the idea of getting one but I never spend money without immense (probably really too much) thought, deliberation and second guessing. This is why my bank balance is healthy at any rate, although also why being a millionaire would be wasted on me- I'm a home-grown miser and always have been! lol

I am sometimes like that...and then other times I am like 'I CAN IF I WANT TO!' and do something MENTAL like buy an artwork. Or decide to live alone... (I really have to qualify now..I decided living alone was too expensive when I was working and now I am not working!)
